About the Trainer

Katie Cmejrek started professionally training dogs in 2003 after a mentorship. She has always had a strong passion for working with dogs and people together to create a bond built on trust and respect.

Keeping calm, but strong energy is her goal when working with dogs to create a polite & calm member of the family.

Katie is also very passionate about continuing education and feels it is a very important aspect of being a balanced trainer. She is a member if the Association of Professional Dog Trainers (APDT).

She has trained dogs in Michigan, Illinois, Ohio, Colorado, and California professionally and feels comfortable working with many tools to help customize a program for every individual dog and family.

Katie currently lives on her mini-farm near Ann Arbor with her dogs & cats who thinks they are dogs and her daughter.
